Le Clos des Martines, built in the 19th century, takes its name from its location on the edge of the Martines forest, which is set to be replanted after being cleared. As for the term “clos,” it simply refers to the walls that enclose the estate. Built by Alfred Saintard, this elegant residence was, at the time, an outstanding example of architecture featuring all the innovations of the era – and it is set to become that again today, thanks to an ambitious renovation project.
